About the Guard
Seven years, six eras, one guild
Founded in WoW Classic on Grobbulus (NA) in 2019 by Greyshield, our original Guild Master, as a community where polite and respectful players could level, roleplay, PvP and raid together as a unified force.

2019 · Grobbulus
Vanilla
Starting with a core team of 20 raiders alongside our sister guild <Stormpike Militia>, we took down Onyxia, Ragnaros in Molten Core and Nefarian in Blackwing Lair.
As we progressed through WoW Classic, leadership passed to a Guild Master committee of Desan, Nisharu, Poderick, Hollie and Montqueesh, and under their collaborative leadership the guild cleared Ahn'Qiraj. When we ventured into the temple, we recognized the need for reinforcements and allied with members of <Sanguine>; together we triumphed over C'Thun and later Kel'Thuzad in Naxxramas.
When the co-GM structure dissolved, Poderick became Guild Master, with Montqueesh as his steadfast right hand, guiding the guild through the end of WoW Classic and into The Burning Crusade.

2021
The Burning Crusade
In September 2021, Montqueesh became Guild Master and, with the support of key officers, led the guild through The Burning Crusade. The Guard conquered a series of challenging raids, from Karazhan to Black Temple. Sunwell Plateau proved a formidable challenge.

2022
Wrath of the Lich King
Sunwell Plateau finally fell in early Wrath of the Lich King Classic. In August 2022, Boarrior was appointed co-Guild Master alongside Montqueesh, and the Guard went on to Yogg-Saron and the Lich King.

2024
Cataclysm
We cleared Blackwing Descent, the Throne of the Four Winds, Firelands and Dragon Soul, with heroic kills of Halfus, Magmaw and Atramedes, and finished by bringing down Ragnaros and then Deathwing. Along the way, five of our members earned the legendary staff Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest, and Montqueesh earned the legendary Fangs of the Father daggers.

Mists of Pandaria
When Grobbulus closed, the Guard moved to Pagle and carried on in Mists of Pandaria Classic. We've cleared every MoP Classic raid released so far, and still raid there casually.

Nov 2026 · RP-PvP
WoW Forever
A new chapter on Forever's RP-PvP ruleset, where we go by <The Theramore Guard>: casual RP events, world PvP, leveling groups and dungeon runs, and the push toward our first raid. We're forming the team now.

A thorn in the Horde's side
Whether it's dominating in PvP battlegrounds, raiding Orgrimmar with <No Mercy Mafia>, defending the Alliance's home cities or claiming the Tol Barad territory, the Guard stays active in the war against the Horde. On Forever's RP-PvP ruleset, world PvP is right up our alley.

Leadership today
Today the guild is led by co-Guild Masters Boarrior and Montqueesh (on Forever: Boargruuf Ironhide and Montqueesh Duskwhisper), with officers Frawl and Holidaze, all working together to keep the guild strong and thriving.
